Idle Mafia Game Property ROI Calculator
This calculator compares income and schedule-averaged payback—not an exact countdown to your next purchase. Use the cost of the next purchase and the extra hourly income it adds. A result based on an average day does not say when income will actually reach your wallet.
Public footage can establish only what appeared on that account and date. It is not first-person gameplay testing by this site. Use the live game screen as the final check for changing values, availability, and account-specific results.
Compare Property income and averaged payback
Compare this purchase’s added income. The archived offline default is editable; apply a missing bonus only once.
Compare the checked Property rows
Sorted by schedule-averaged payback using 8 online hours. This is a bounded sample, not the full Property catalog.

Source: visible Property interface in a Sep. 2, 2026 gameplay recording. Newsstand Front was sampled after one was already owned, so its $590 price is not treated as universal.
The five presets come from this site's September 2 archive. The default offline rate is 25%, and the optional 10% bonus is an archived assumption. Neither was independently reproduced for this review. Custom inputs should use the applicable account values.
Enter the right income
For a new purchase, enter its additional income, not all income from Properties you already own. Dividing a new purchase's price by the entire empire's income would understate that purchase's own payback time.
Choose one of two input modes:
- Final displayed income: enter the final online hourly amount. No extra bonus is added.
- Base income before bonus: enter an unboosted amount. An optional 10% scenario may be added once.
If 2,200 per hour already includes a 10% boost, enter 2,200 in final-income mode. Do not multiply it by 1.1 again.

Why the same example can show one, two, or four hours
Take the archived Pizzeria example: purchase price 2,000 Cash, income 2,000 per online hour, offline multiplier 25%, no extra bonus.
| Comparison | Calculation | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Continuously online | 2,000 ÷ 2,000 | 1 hour |
| Continuously offline | 2,000 ÷ (2,000 × 0.25) | 4 hours |
| A day containing 8 online and 16 offline hours | Daily income is 2,000 × (8 + 16 × 0.25) = 24,000 | 2 schedule-averaged hours |
The last result uses average income of 1,000 per hour across the whole day. It does not specify the order of those hours.
Under a continuous-accrual illustration, starting with online time would reach 2,000 after one hour. Starting with at least four offline hours would reach it after four hours. Both schedules can still contain the same eight online hours in a day.
Actual collection timing, caps, and account conditions were not established by this calculation. Do not present the two-hour average as a timer.
Formula and units
Let:
P= purchase price in Cash;I= entered incremental income in Cash per online hour;b= 1 in final-income mode, or the selected scenario multiplier in base-income mode;h= online hours in a 24-hour day;r= offline income as a fraction of online income.
Then:
Q = I × b
Online income per day = Q × h
Offline income per day = Q × r × (24 − h)
D = Q × [h + r × (24 − h)]
Average income per hour = D ÷ 24
Schedule-averaged payback in hours = 24 × P ÷ D
Schedule-averaged payback in days = P ÷ D
The factor of 24 is required when converting a daily-income denominator into an answer in hours.
Five archived examples on the same schedule
The table uses eight online hours, sixteen offline hours, a 25% offline multiplier, and no additional bonus. It compares a limited dated sample, not the current complete Property catalog.
| Property | Sample price | Sample income/hour | Model income/day | Schedule-averaged payback |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Newsstand Front | 590 | 600 | 7,200 | 1.97 hours |
| Pizzeria | 2,000 | 2,000 | 24,000 | 2.00 hours |
| Pawn Shop | 8,000 | 7,600 | 91,200 | 2.11 hours |
| Chop Shop | 30,000 | 26,000 | 312,000 | 2.31 hours |
| Nightclub | 110,000 | 88,000 | 1,056,000 | 2.50 hours |
Newsstand Front's 590 price was recorded in an owned-account state. It is not a universal first-purchase price. Sample values are retained from the published Property table; this review verifies the arithmetic, not the current game values.
Avoid double-counting the bonus
For an eight-hour absence at a 25% offline multiplier:
- Base 2,000/hour with one 10% multiplier gives
2,000 × 1.1 × 8 × 0.25 = 4,400. - Final displayed 2,200/hour with no added multiplier gives
2,200 × 8 × 0.25 = 4,400. - Applying another 10% to the final 2,200 would give 4,840 and count the same bonus twice.
The optional multiplier assumes the chosen bonus applies to the modelled income. This review does not establish stacking rules for paid passes, temporary boosts, or new update systems.
When a result is unavailable
A zero income rate produces no positive income to recover a positive purchase price. Likewise, an entirely offline day at a zero offline rate cannot pay back in this model. Show “No payback at these inputs,” not a zero-hour result.
Cash on hand and level are separate purchase checks. They do not change the income formula, and an unknown unlock requirement must not be reported as unlocked.
FAQ
Is “2 hours” the time until I can buy the next Property?
No. It is the equivalent payback at an average rate under the selected schedule. Your existing Cash, other income, spending, session order, and collection rules are separate.
Should I enter the Property's income or my empire's total?
For the return on one new purchase, enter the extra income that purchase adds. Use an empire total only for a separate total-income calculation—not as the return generated by one building.
What if my offline rate is not 25%?
Replace the archived default with the applicable rate. The calculator exposes the assumption instead of treating it as a permanent rule.
Does this subtract Bank fees, theft, or spending?
No. These are gross income and payback comparisons. Use the Bank guide for transfer-fee scenarios and the offline guide for absence-length examples.
