Idle Mafia Game Bank Guide: Fees and Cash Protection

Splitting the same amount into smaller deposits does not increase a purely percentage-based fee. At 10%, one 10,000-Cash deposit and ten 1,000-Cash deposits both cost 1,000 Cash, before any separate minimum, fixed charge, or rounding rule.

Chosen loss exceeds fee

The selected loss exceeds or falls below the fee only if it occurs. This is not an expected loss, attack probability, or automatic recommendation. Fixed charges, minimums, rounding, and withdrawal costs are outside the model.

The cost to avoid is unnecessarily moving the same money out and back in through another chargeable deposit. That is different from depositing newly earned Cash in several batches.

The 10% rate is an archived September 2 observation published by this site, not a rate independently reproduced for this review. Use the fee displayed for your account in the calculator.

What the Bank comparison can tell you

The official game describes stealing Cash as part of PvP. This site's archived Bank notes describe Cash on hand as exposed and banked Cash as protected. They do not establish today's withdrawal terms, every protected balance type, or the probability of being attacked. Official game · Archived source notes

Separate Cash you are about to spend from surplus you plan to hold. Compare the known transfer charge with a loss you are prepared to risk; do not assume that every absence produces a robbery.

Three examples at a 10% deposit fee

These are arithmetic examples, not observations of new gameplay.

SituationFee calculationTotal deposit feesAmount left after those fees
Deposit 10,000 once10,000 × 10%1,0009,000
Deposit ten separate amounts of 1,00010 × 1,000 × 10%1,0009,000
Deposit 10,000, later withdraw the remaining 9,000 and deposit it again1,000 + 9,000 × 10%1,9008,100

The third row assumes no withdrawal charge and no other movement of Cash solely to isolate repeated deposit fees. It does not claim that withdrawals are free in the current game.

For the first two rows, deposit timing changes how long Cash stays exposed, but not the total proportional fee on the same newly earned amount.

How to make the next Bank decision

  1. Identify the amount. Compare the Cash you intend to deposit, not your Property value or an unrelated account total.
  2. Read the current terms. Use the displayed deposit rate and note any minimum, fixed charge, limit, or withdrawal condition.
  3. Keep the next purchase in mind. A transfer may be unnecessary when that Cash will be spent immediately, but this is a risk decision rather than a rule that small deposits are bad.
  4. Confirm the result. Compare the carried and banked balances after the action. A rate model is not a substitute for the actual response.

Bank fee versus a chosen loss scenario

The calculator shows the proportional deposit fee, the amount credited after that fee, and a loss scenario you enter. The loss percentage is not an attack probability.

For 10,000 Cash at a 10% fee, the fee is 1,000. A chosen 50% loss scenario is 5,000. This says only that the selected loss would exceed the fee if it occurred. It does not say a 5,000 loss is expected or likely.

For illustration, a 20% probability of a 50% loss would produce a simple expected loss of 10% of the exposed amount. Those percentages are invented example inputs, not measured game rates. The tool does not supply an attack probability or automatically decide that you should bank.

What to do when the numbers differ

The fee is not 10%. Replace the archived default with your displayed rate. A zero rate is valid only when the current terms actually show no proportional deposit charge.

The credited amount differs from the calculation. A fixed charge, minimum, rounding rule, another transfer, or a changed amount could make the simple percentage model insufficient. This review does not establish which explanation applies.

You cannot spend the banked balance as expected. Do not assume a free, instant, unlimited withdrawal. The current withdrawal rules were not verified here.

Your Property income changed. Property earnings and Bank transfers are separate calculations. Use the Property ROI calculator for the income model.

FAQ

Should I wait and make one large deposit to save fees?

Not solely because of deposit count. With a pure proportional fee, the same total deposited once or in smaller batches has the same fee. Extra transaction rules could change that, but they are not established by this guide.

Is the Bank always worth a 10% fee?

No universal answer is supported. Consider the displayed fee, the next purchase, how long Cash will be exposed, and the loss you can tolerate. The calculator does not predict attackers.

What is the difference between batching and paying twice?

Batching divides newly earned Cash into separate transfers. Paying twice means putting money through another chargeable deposit after it has already paid one deposit fee.

Does depositing protect every balance?

Do not extend an archived banked-Cash protection label to unclaimed income, Property value, territory, or any other balance without current evidence.
